Course Description: 
Enhance your hospitality career with our 'Unified Hospitality Mastery' course, tailored to foster multifaceted leaders for smaller establishments and care sectors. This course is ideal for individuals working or aspiring to work in smaller establishments where multiple roles need to be filled. It covers housekeeping, phone etiquette, basic beverage preparation, and elementary meal preparation and service. 

 Who should attend? 

This course is recommended for those in administration, small hotels, residences, conference centers, home care, and social care. Location: Lakefield Hospitality College Maresfield Gardens NW3 5RY


Course Duration: Our course is delivered over 14 weeks, divided into distinct weekly modules.  Our course spans from 04/09/23 to 01/12/23, with classes being conducted every Monday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Materials for theoretical and practical sessions will be provided. Join us on this transformative journey as we strengthen your soft skills and leadership abilities in the hospitality industry, preparing you for a successful and fulfilling career. 

What You'll Learn in the Multi-skilled Hospitality leaders Course

Week 1 - Purpose Driven Leadership: We begin by helping you identify and articulate your unique purpose in life, forming the foundation for effective and meaningful leadership.
Week 2 - Leadership Styles: We delve into the various styles of leadership, helping you define your own unique approach and understand what makes a successful leader.
Week 3 - Communication Techniques: This week focuses on enhancing authenticity, honesty, and respect in your communications, key components to building strong relationships and effective teams.
Week 4 - Helping Others Fulfil Their Potential: Learn how to empower those around you, providing guidance that helps them realize their full potential.
Week 5 - Understanding Your Leadership Potential: A deep dive into your capabilities as a leader, identifying areas for development and strategies for growth.
Week 6 - Balancing Your Professional and Personal Life: Finally, we help you understand the importance of work-life balance and provide tips for maintaining this equilibrium.
Week 7 - Menu Planning and Budgeting: This week delves into weekly menu planning and budgeting, a key skill for efficient operation.
Week 8 - Basic Culinary Skills: We introduce you to the kitchen with a focus on making fundamental dishes - soups and bread.
Week 9 - Special Occasions: Learn how to create a memorable afternoon tea experience, perfect for special events and occasions.
Week 10 - Table Decorations and Settings: This module will cover table decoration and place settings, contributing to a fine dining experience.

Week 11 - Laundry Essentials: Get a deep understanding of basic laundry skills, including using cleaning chemicals, equipment, stain removal, and operating a washing machine.
Week 12 - Laundry Sorting and Machine Operation: This week is dedicated to learning how to read labels, sort colors and master the use of a washing machine.
Week 13 - Ironing and Folding Techniques: We teach you the most effective methods to iron and fold clothes and linens, ensuring a professional appearance.
Week 14 - Storage Principles: In the final week, we discuss the proper storage of towels and bed linen, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition for use.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO APPLY?

Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, EU citizen ID card, UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. 
If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK - your visa, your biometric card that covers the duration of your course or any relevant home office documents to support your residency should all be uploaded. If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen we will need to see evidence of 'Pre-Settled' or 'Settled-status' documents. Also for funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). 
If you are receiving benefits (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC), Housing benefits etc. please bring evidence of this).
